For our couples choosing Winter as their month to marry, we always like to plan for lots of candlelight and add in extra specialty lighting such as festoons, fairy lights and chandeliers. Also creating a nice cozy atmosphere at the ceremony and post ceremony drinks will be important, depending on the venue some comfortable lounge inside and some good heating is always appreciated.

Being from Sydney they chose an Australian based Photographer and Videographer - the amazing Bear and The Rabbit, and we were so happy they did! The lovely Gemma and Brett were married in August on Waiheke, and look at the day they had! We love a good Winter wedding, it's a great excuse for lots of layers, rich jewel tones, roaring fires and loads of candles. This beautiful wedding was styled by the bride herself, images from Madeline Druce.
