If you know Poderi Crisci Vineyard on Waiheke, then you know that it’s just like heading over to Italy for the day, only closer! If you are after something with a little Italian flair, love Italian food and wine and the Tuscan countryside is what you long for, then this is the place. We had the absolute pleasure of organising this amazing private event for a super cool couple celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary. They wanted a relaxed and beautiful setting for their guests to enjoy, plus a fun kids zone to keep them happy throughout the day. The whole event was created on the lower lawn, large enough for a big marquee and full stage and band set up. All the food was served ‘Italian market style’ from small food stalls along the sides. Guests could choose small plates from the Salumeria meat station, fresh pulled mozzarella, specialty breads, a seafood bar, pasta and the finest wines. This was a true ‘Tuscan’ Garden party, and such fun to create.
