Mike and Miriama's incredible Waiheke wedding processed all the elements of truly magical occasion of the heart! The beautiful setting was the couples own land on Waiheke, complete with rolling fields, olive grove and a beautiful rustic holiday abode which all tied in perfectly with their relaxed style for the day. With over 200 guests on the guest list, this was a gathering at the larger end of the scale for Waiheke, and it was an absolute pleasure to invoke so many local producers and suppliers with this event, all at the request of the couple. It was such a pleasure to be involved with this day, and thank you to Rachel Callander for these beaufiul photos.

These two gorgeous people tied the knot on Waiheke back in Summer 2015, at the lovely Lavender Hill Estate on Waiheke Island. It was such an absolute pleasure meeting these guys, working with them in creating this spectacular day and to be involved with two people as relaxed and gracious as Aimee and Sam was really something I will always remember. This Summer we have the pleasure of working with Sam's sister and soon to be brother in law, who will also be getting married on the Island. I am now fondly reminded of this wedding, the beautiful vibrancy and fun colours, the stunning location, great suppliers and of course- magical photos by Jodi at I Do Photography.

Introducing the amazing Sophie + Matt. What an incredible duo, Sophie was one of the most gracious brides I've ever met, and not only did these guys look radiant and relaxed during the whole day, they also happened to have a baby in tow! Little Zach was such a delight throughout, and what a cutie! These guys had great style, and I knew this early on when they told me they had booked in Heidi and Ryan of Forged in the North, who just happen to be some of our all time favourite photographers, ever! And look at these incredible photos, these guys nailed it! We are also excited to say they'll be back in NZ again next Summer, wahoo!

The day started off with two fabulous local favourites, hair stylist Jules of Hair on Waiheke and Charlotte from Island Beauty, helping Sophie and her maids get ready in one of the Island's incredible Architecturally designed properties. Our good friends at Wildflower provided the wild and whimsical blooms and foliage for the day. The chosen setting for the wedding was The Goldie Room, with a hilltop ceremony followed by a candlelit reception. With Matt being Canadian, and a good portion of the guests flying in, it became a wonderful occasion to showcase some rather amazing New Zealand landscapes, with this coastal vineyard location and native bush surrounds, not the mention the fine Waiheke wine and food. With MixIt DJ behind the decks, everyone was soon on the dance floor, with some romantic evening dancing outside under a festoon lit evening sky was a must! The whole day was joyous in every way, and we just wished to say a big congratulations to this amazing couple, it was such a pleasure to meet you both, and work with you in creating your special day.
